why is it, that one person, who used to play one of the least significant roles in your life, one person who you had harbored no feelings toward, turns into your one and only?
why is it, that this one, insignificant person makes your life worth living, yet destroys it at the same time?
this is the only person you think about, despite your lack of contact, lack of seeing one another...an overall lack of being together. you try to tell yourself that it's over, then all the same you try to convince yourself that it's not, they didn't leave you, and it's okay- they just don't have the time, the chance.

but then you look at the situation as a whole, realize that both of you are wrong, and the relationship you "have" went the way they all do- it spiraled downward.
